About Us

John Hudzik is a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. He founded Brownstone Counseling in 2007 with the mission of helping to create an environment in which the client can experiences the changes necessary for knowledge, empowerment, and fulfillment.

His experience includes work with children, adolescents, adults in all areas of mental health issues. He has specialized training in issues related to returning veterans and their families, victims of domestic violence, medical issues including end of life, LGBTQ+, substance abuse, marriage and family issues, and court appointed counseling and assessment.

He has a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Boston University, and has numerous post-graduate training.

He has worked in an array of different settings. He is fully versed in dealing with anxiety, depression/bi-polar, grief and loss, PTSD/trauma, domestic violence, and anger management.

John has always tried to follow the advice of “start where the client is starts, and progress where the client chooses to progress.”
